There are around 800 superyachts registered in Malta, with the island’s slogan of ‘Malta… the flag of confidence for superyachts’ clearly hitting home with new owners.

Malta has experienced a major rise in the number of boats registered in Malta over the last five years, with a 98% increase in registers Maltese occurring since 2014.

Transport Minister Ian Borg announced this as the Malta Ship And Yacht Registry stand entices even more would-be clients at the Monaco Yacht Show.

Saying Transport Malta was continuously promoting the yachting industry, Borg continued by saying he was committed to “continue consolidating this growth through our reputation, confidence and quality”.
