Cooking And Cruising: Orange Travel Group Joins Costa Fascinosa Celebration
Cooking contests, Mediterranean views and a full day at sea, the Costa Fascinosa was the place to be on 27th September.
What started as an exclusive client event quickly turned into a full-blown celebration of teamwork and travel, as the Orange Travel Group joined forces with Costa Cruises for a day of activities, dining and camaraderie on board the stunning cruise liner.
The event brought together Costa Cruises guests, SMS Mondial clients and the Orange Travel Group team, who capped off the day with an overnight stay and a one-of-a-kind team-building experience, joined by colleagues from across Europe.
A lively cooking competition stole the show, as guests put their culinary skills to the test in a friendly face-off judged by three well-known Maltese public figures and the ship’s Head Chef, turning the Cherie Lounge into a hub of laughter and creativity.

Bottaro also highlighted Malta’s importance as a key market for Costa, with the Costa Fascinosa regularly calling at Valletta between June and September as part of its seven-day Eastern Mediterranean route, including stops in Catania, Taranto, Argostoli, Mykonos and Athens.
He spoke about Costa’s exclusive “Sea & Land” itineraries, combining destinations at sea with unique shore excursions to deliver an “authentic, sustainable and engaging” travel experience.
The event also featured speeches from Capt. Ezio Di Nunzio, Dr Charles Mangion, Chairman of the Malta Tourism Authority, and Claire Camenzuli, COO of Orange Travel Group, each commending the partnership’s success and shared commitment to hospitality and innovation.
