Finally! You Won’t Have To Remove Your Liquids And Electronics From Your Bags At Malta’s Airport Any More

Flying out of Malta for the holidays? Here’s one less hassle at the airport – you won’t need to remove your liquids and electronics from your hand luggage when clearing security.

The Malta International Airport just made the announcement moments ago, saying this was all possible after all six of its new security scanners were installed at the Central Security Screening Area. Earlier this year, the airport had been testing one of the machines, but now, every lane has been updated.

“While the 100ml restriction on liquids remains in place, certain exceptions apply to items such as medications and food for infants,” the airport said in a statement.
