KM Malta Airlines Cancels Flights To London Heathrow

Passengers flying between Malta and London Heathrow on Friday 21st March are being urged to check their bookings after KM Malta Airlines announced the cancellation of four flights.
In a statement, the airline confirmed that flights KM100/KM102 (Malta to London Heathrow) and KM101/KM103 (London Heathrow to Malta) have been cancelled due to a closure at London Heathrow airport — something entirely outside the airline’s control.
What Are Your Options?
KM Malta Airlines is offering affected passengers two options:
– A full refund of your ticket
– Rebooking to your final destination on an alternative date
If you booked directly with the airline and want a refund, just fill out their online form. For bookings made via a travel agent, you’ll need to reach out to them instead.
The airline apologised for the inconvenience, stressing the situation is beyond its control.
Heathrow was shut down due to a fire nearby which caused an electricity outage. All passengers have been asked to avoid the area completely. Well over 1,300 have been affected in total.
