Two Ships Steal A Kiss In Marsamxett Harbour After Strong Winds Force Them Together

Finding a perfect soulmate can be hard, but two Maltese vessels may have just started a relationship after strong winds turned the pair into a couple of love-boats.

… or that’s what the scene looked like in Marsamxett Harbour yesterday morning, after a swell untethered a Captain Morgan ship and sent it careening into the nearby Fernandes ship.

Though the boats were pushed together, it seems very little damage was taken by either ship, and their owners quickly separated the couple

The two ships were tethered between the Ferries in Sliema and the Gzira promenade, and caused quite a stir with onlookers

Now that they’ve been separated, one has to wonder if Captain Morgan will make a break for her dear Fernandes, or whether that’s the last we saw of their brief but exciting companionship.
