WATCH: Flares, DIY Fire Jugglers And DJ Sets! Santa Venera’s Party Streets Go Ballistic For Easter

Malta’s most lit locality turned things up a notch – or seven – for Easter Sunday, with residents of Santa Venera’s putting on an unforgettable show yesterday evening.
Respecting social distancing rules and not crowding to beaches or public areas, the residents still managed to have a mighty good time by redecorating the entire street with balloons and fairy lights… and that’s before the DIY fire jugglers arrived on scene with a couple of sparklers!
Brunzar Street was 150% lit – literally – with a raging street rave with a difference that will make every Maltese resident jealousAF.
Everyone clearly had a whale of a time, with the neighbours’ children rushing to the windows and balconies in excitement to witness the show and a half.
Meanwhile in Triq Dun Alfred Gatt, the celebrations kicked off early on Sunday, with music and streamers making sure everyone celebrating Easter in style.
Already known for their weekly raucous celebrations, the residents of Triq Dun Alfred Gatt brought everything from a live karaoke machine to flares to their party, even having a DJ stand set up to entertain the neighbours.
If they ever organise a competition for Malta’s most festive locality, it looks like the rest of the island has a lot of catching up to do to get to Santa Venera’s level.
