Malta’s south is about to get a brand new retail destination… and it’s not looking to hold back in anything. From sprawling flagship stores to an entertainment area with some very unique features, you’re going to want to check this out.
Shoreline has not only revamped the Kalkara skyline, it is set to redefine experiential destination standards in a couple of weeks by combining superior retail, dining and entertainment in one of Malta’s largest mall.
So of course, we had to go check it out for ourselves and give you a sneak peek of the whole thing!

Shoreline’s tagline is Escape The Ordinary, and when you first walk into the soon-to-be-unveiled mall, it’s easy to see why.
It feels like everything has been turned up to 11, with familiar brands many have come to know and love being given way more space to show off their wares, instantly becoming the islands’ flagship stores. And that’s the case with many popular brands that go beyond fashion, with the mall’s two floors boasting the same amount of space and choice when it comes to cafeterias and snacking options.
But it’s not all shopping till dropping at the Shoreline, with the mall also set to reveal an entertainment area like no other thanks to Gravity.
What starts off as a high-tech arcade with cutting-edge VR set-ups being imported from abroad quickly turns very tactile and IRL thanks to two of Gravity’s defining features which actually inspired its name. First up is a huge trampoline park (which feels more like an arena) gracing its entrance, with the pièce de résistance hiding a bit further back – a towering series of high obstacles and bridges, climaxing in one big drop of a free-fall which will definitely delight all the young daredevils out there.
As for the rest of the mall, expect everything from a unique 3D screen in the foyer to a supermarket, a pharmacy and every kind of shop you could ever need.
The idea behind Shoreline Mall is simple: sure, it might be a bit out of people’s way, but if you’re driving down to Kalkara, make a day out of it, enjoy it with the whole family… and take it all in.
