While Apple’s latest device, the iPhone X, has generated a flurry of hype large enough to last us another couple of months, no new feature has been as widely anticipated than the animojis. Lovin Malta’s Chucky Bartolo teamed up with Gadgets‘ Ian Naudi to see what the fuss is all about… and the results were as hilarious as you’d expect. 

To give the whole that extra Maltese flair, the pair picked popular Maltese songs from the island’s past, and seeing as Chucky was involved, of course they were mostly Eurovision hits.

Running through everything from early days Ira Losco as a fox to an eerily accurate Joseph Calleja alien, Chucky absolutely killed it thanks to the iPhone X’s new face-tracking emoji feature, and eventually, even Ian got into the whole thing!
