Local superstar Destiny Chukunyere performed her take on the dance number Fast Life (Ladidadi) at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest last Sunday. The competition, which was hosted in Malta following Destiny’s big win in 2015 with Not My Soul saw children from across Europe compete in the junior version of one of Europe’s biggest phenomenons.

Destiny

Destiny’s latest cover leans towards a more adult oriented audience than her previous head-bobbing catchy tunes. That being said there’s nothing wrong with a little Nicky Minaj meets Iggy Azalea vibes thrown into the mix.

People may comment that the song is too ‘mature’ for the 14-year-old star, but there’s no denying that the song would happily fit in your pre-Paceville playlist.

Say what you want about the music, the highlight of the whole performance will remain this introduction:

Whut

Destiny performed this for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, which saw ten-year-old Mariam Mamadashvili from Georgia as this year’s winner with her song Mzeo. Christina Magrin represented Malta with Parachute.
