Watch: Dramatic Moment Man Saves Girl From Speeding Boat Crash In Gżira
The dramatic moment a man saved a little girl from a boat which sped onto Gżira shore and crashed into the building they were in has gone viral on a number of messaging threads around the nation.
In two clips of a CCTV recording, the boat can be seen speeding uncontrollably into the marina before it crashed onto a structure next to the seaside town’s petrol station.
The incident, which happened just after 2:20pm on Wednesday, left no injuries… but this video has shed on a light on the tragedy which was very narrowly avoided thanks to this unnamed hero.

Two other boats were damaged in the accident, with one ended up semi-submerged and another being pushed into the structure by the speeding boat.
While it is not yet fully confirmed what led to the incident, eyewitnesses told Lovin Malta that a person piloting one of the boats appeared to have fainted before crashing into the other two vessels which were berthed in the marina right next to Ta’ Xbiex.
