WATCH: How Many Times Can Maltese West End Star Raphael Pace Say ‘Burbs’ While Walking Us Through His Wardrobe?

Off The Rails is back for another sneak peek into Malta’s favourite wardrobes and this week we were joined by West End star Raphael Pace and a whole lot of Burbs (Burberry, to you and I).

For a West End actor, Raphael approaches a rather humble attire, favouring mainly vintage and simple looks.

Like his Mary Poppins bag – big enough to hold everything and still have room for a spoonful of sugar.

He’s also a big fan of Burbs, as is our host Rachel. So much so that we even had to set up a Burbs Counter for the two of them, and Raphael even made the very self-aware choice to consciously stop saying it.

There’s also Raphael’s (but not Raphael’s, because it once belonged to someone called David) cast jacket from the Broadway show, La Cages Aux Folles – and while we are fans of double denim, we wouldn’t recommend Rachel attempts the combo anytime soon (and so does Raph)…

Next up is Rachel’s personal fave from Raphael’s picks, because she loves a jumpsuit (and who doesn’t?).

Neither Rachel or Raphael know why the pockets are cut through of the overalls, but we’re here to educate you all on the matter:

Originally intended to be worn over casual clothes, overalls pockets were not sewn together so that the wearer could reach into the pockets of their trousers underneath, because the original use of overalls was to keep other clothes clean for workmen.

Raphael’s final piece is an olive-green suit jacket he wore to his first press night.

Tbh, our favourite part of the show this week was when Rachel jetted off into space. Top quality content right there, courtesy of Lovin Malta’s fashion-forward inside-look into Malta’s most well-known wardrobes, Off The Rails.
