Maltese filmmaker Fabrizio Fenech has a chance to win a bunch of cool filmmaking gear at the ‘My Rode Reel’ competition with the submission of his dark, techno-paranoia film, Vehemence.

The short film has been submitted as part of the Rode Reel 2019 competition with the chance to win over $1-Million in prizes across 28 categories

Vehemence begins as a love story between two individuals, Sarah and Lucas, who are involved in a car accident which leaves Sarah in a coma.

With Lucas struggling to come to grips with the fact that their love life has ended tragically, he tries and tests experiments to access her subconscious with the hope to relive their past experiences and forever remain as one.

The top-quality production of Vehemence was a collaborative effort between several people including Mavric Said for sound and visual, Carston Saliba for production assistant and the soundtrack by local hip hop favourite Eddie Fresco.

The criteria for the competition also required a BTS video to explain how the short film was made and to showcase the Rode equipment used during filming.
