WATCH: Maltese Volunteers Pick Up 500kg Of Waste

Some 500kg of rubbish was collected by over 50 volunteers at last Sunday’s clean-up organised by Żibel.

The clean-up, which was held at the beautiful Fomm Ir-Riħ, took over six hours to complete. The majority of rubbish collected was plastic litter like bottle caps and disposable items.

This isn’t the first time Żibel has left our little island a little cleaner. Last week they tore through the countryside and hauled away a substantial amount of garbage.
