WATCH: Msida Marina’s Ducks Can Now Swim Safely Knowing There Will Always Be A Hand To Help Them Out Of Troubled Waters
Msida Marina doesn’t usually see much duckling action towards the mainland side, but go further down towards Ta’ Xbiex and you’ll see the little feather tails swimming merrily along.
The reason you’d not find many more further inland is probably because of the access the birds have to the water is a one-way system: jump in and don’t get out. One resident in Malta yesterday happened upon a case of just this but with a bloody adorable duckling!
The duckling had fallen into the waters below, and with no way out for the little guy, the quick-thinking hero reached in and scooped the feathery fluff-ball out in time for him to catch up with the rest of family
