Just when you thought you’d had enough of the age-old Only In Malta saying, especially when it comes to our roads, Viral Orb went and found another video of shenanigans on Maltese roads. 

The video, which seems to have been shot in Birkirkara’s Psaila Street, shows a man on a motorcycle being pulled by a pickup truck. Yes, really.

The video, which is just 45 seconds long, hasn’t even been up for 24 hours, but it’s already gathered 50k views. Of course, the people who commented all had very colourful things to tell the two drivers involved, and while some users said there were far better ways of jump-starting a bike that just won’t go, other users suggested that perhaps, the bike wasn’t even theirs to begin with…

Around the 38th second, the entire DIY towing process doesn’t go exactly as planned, but instead veers into the exactly as expected territory as the guy on the bike loses his balance and topples over. At least, the pickup driver appears to instantly notice, stop and exit the truck to check up on his mate. 

Here’s hoping it was around this moment they realised this isn’t the safest thing to be doing, especially on the hot and busy roads of Malta. 

Needless to say; please do not try this and be safe on the roads.
