A group of Maltese guys were picked up by Facebook page GiveMeSport after a video of them absolutely nailing the old Keepy Uppy Challenge at a farmhouse in Gozo went viral recently.

Weekends with the lads are great, weekends with the lads in Gozo are even greater. No missus around to get in the way of the fun to be had, no neighbours around to shut you up when you and six other mates manage to make an old challenge new.

We’re all familiar with the Keepy Uppy challenge. The craze began to sweep across the internet in late 2014 but gained later traction across 2017 in aid of various charities.

It’s a game whereby you and your mates challenge each other to try and see who can keep a football off the ground for the longest time and manage the most consecutive hits with their legs at the same time.

Jamie Muscat and his mates were keen to share the fun they had with the rest of the world, it seems, and we are loving it.

And the best thing about it is the genuine joy and excitement on all the lads faces when they realise they’ve just completed a 7-man rally of headers around the pool by leaping into the water in a scene reminiscent of the closing to High School Musical where they all realise working together is better and means more fun for everyone.

Tag a mate in the comments who can’t even do one Keepy Uppy!
