Ryanair have joined the endless ranks of companies vying for the top-spot when it comes to Christmas videos, but unlike their competition they’ve avoided tugging at our heartstrings and have focused on our funny bones.
The ad plays into that all-too familiar feeling we get when returning home for Christmas. The nostalgia of the season makes us miss our childhood homes, but the awkward conversations with that one drunk uncle, and the unspoken curfew that lingers makes us wish we could just make a quick escape.
