WATCH: Malta’s Sassiest Stand Up Comedy Show Is Back For A Two-Night Special

Nothing is off-limits as Malta gears up for the return of its most-brutal stand-up comic, Chucky Bartolo. Presenting a two-night special, Suspicious Baggage promises to make you laugh till your sides hurt… just try not to pee a little or Chucky will call you out.
“Last show we had someone panic-boo while laughing, it was so funny. They were caught between shock and hilarity, and didn’t really know how to handle it! This is exactly the kind of reaction I hope for.”
Known for his brutal commentary on local celebrities and the crazy shit that goes down on our island, Chucky’s sharp tongue has gotten him in hot water in the past – but that’s never slowed him down before, and he’s not about to stop now.

Opening Pride Week in Malta, the show will take place next Saturday and Sunday and promises to build on the success of his previous shows, which were sold out nearly every single night.
But what draws audiences back for more each time?
“There’s something so freeing about laughing at a situation you’ve always thought was weird, but never fully noticed until it was pointed out to you. It’s also fun to know you’re not the only person on the island who hides some pretty strange habits”
Posting new teasers to Facebook, Chucky is showcasing the various topics that form the foundations of his shows: from Malta’s masochistic hatred-yet-also-obsession with all local personalities, to his endlessly-abundant and always-awkward sexual mishaps.

Now armed with new material he claims he’s picked up by “sitting with a notepad in Glasgow’s Greggs (essentially Sphinx Pastizzerija with an eat-in option)” Chucky is ready to tell everyone he’s an international performer and dazzle audiences for a short and bitter run on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th September.
Taking place at Mount Carmel’s Community Theatre, the team behind Suspicious Baggage’s (aka Chucky with a pair of glasses on) would also like you to know that even if stand-up isn’t your thing there will be a well-stocked bar, and that the show kicks off at 20:00 on both nights.
If an evening of non-stop laughter is for you, you can pick up your tickets from www.chuckybartolo.com before they’re all gone.
