WATCH: Popular Swedish YouTuber Shares First Video From Malta

Popular Swedish YouTuber Anomaly, who is steadily approaching two million subscribers and has over 400 millions views, will be moving to Malta later this month. Now though, we’ve been given a teaser of what that’s going to look like.
In a vlog shared last week, the YouTuber visited the island to iron out certain issues like his new apartment, and what followed was one of his signature crazy vlogs.
Here are some of the highlights from the hilariously weird eight minute video.
1. “Papa, you like doge?”
Anomaly’s dad, who has become somewhat of a meme, in front of Valletta’s Gelato Dal Doge, was pretty much meme heaven. Such wow.

2. “Gorrrrg Borrrg”
This may have lasted just a couple of seconds, but Anomaly’s pronunciation of the former Prime Minister was amazing(ly bad).

3. “That’s pretty boring”
Perhaps not the first reaction people normally have when they look upon the Grand Harbour from the Upper Barrakka Gardens, but probably a not-so-subtle comment on just how built-up the Three Cities area has become.

4. “At least we get very nice vacation weather”
The YouTuber had said that one of the main reasons his family was making the move to Malta was the weather, which is so much sunnier than “shit Sweden”.
Well, it seems like Anomaly and Papa might’ve gotten the shitty weather with them during their first couple of days on the island.

5. Every. Single. Time
Papa (or Anomaly himself) hit the emergency exit sign three times in the video’s first couple of minutes, in what’s either a classic #TallPeopleProblems moment, or a reminder that the average Maltese person is way short.

6. “Papa we bought Maltese Kinder Eggs”
In a stroke of traditional Anomaly vlogs, Papa gets force-fed pickled eggs, or, according to the Swedish YouTuber, Maltese Kinder Eggs. Sounds disgusting? That’s because it is.

7. “This is Malta’s world-famous-circumcisor”
Lame as this joke might be, Papa’s awkward thumbs-up straight after still killed us.

8. “Winnie The Pooh Flex Goggles”
There was one final stop before the airport; a good old souvenir shop down the road from The Point, to dress Papa up in some proper swag courtesy of a flowery hat-and-sunglasses combo.

Anomaly will be coming back to Malta, this time to start living here, by the end of November.
The YouTuber, who has built worldwide fame despite never showing his face, said that he got sick of having people running around his house “filming and screaming and shit” three to four times a week back in Sweden. Of course, he does need to keep in mind that Malta is a tiny island, and that he’s probably going to instantly become just as famous here. Especially considering he’s the biggest YouTuber currently based in Malta.
Anomaly (and Papa, of course), we’d like to wish you a pleasant welcome to Malta! Let us know whether you want real Kinder Eggs delivered to you instead.
