WATCH: This Cinematic Jog Around Mellieħa Will Remind You Why Malta Absolutely Rules In Summer
Beauty is everywhere in Malta’s untouched countryside, but the northern parts of the island really do have a way of outshining it all. And repping some of the most beautiful aspects that side of the archipelago, is the northern town of Mellieħa. Home to a long list of scenic roads and gorgeous beaches, Mellieħa’s best angles shine bright in the latest video uploaded by travel blogger and videographer Karl Hili.
A 23-year-old adventurer at heart, Hili took the stunning set of footage to showcase Mellieħa’s top destinations, and the whole video plays as one long day of jogging, long-boarding, and general scenic admiration.
Starting off in popular Għadira for a sunrise jog by the beach, our two protagonists make their way to Selmun as the sun gradually comes up. Soon enough, the sprawling scenes in front of them start taking form in the summer day, while the soundtrack really helps evoke some nostalgic vibes to the whole thing.
All of Mellieħa’s gems get their special moment in Hili’s video, from the iconic Red Tower to the back routes of l-Aħrax. And of course, the drop-dead gorgeous Coral Lagoon and Paradise Bay are also here, strutting their stuff in the Maltese sun.
Gozo gets an Easter Egg nod as well, thanks to a shot of the two jogging up from Ċirkewwa as a Gozo Channel ferry ship makes its way from Malta’s sister island.
And to close off it in style, the two guys make it all the way up to the Mellieħa parish church, along with a jog down to Anchor Bay for the ultimate sunset beer.
