We’re Halfway Through The Valletta Film Festival And The Final Few Days Look Stupendous

The Valletta Film Festival 2018 is well on its way, with hundreds of cinema-philes and casual viewers treated to a daily dose of some exceptional films, inspiring talks and interesting masterclasses over the last week.

The festival, which runs from the 8th to 17th of June, is set to show some of its most highly-anticipated films over the next few days, before the grand closing ceremony over the weekend. But films are just the beginning of it.

They’ve already hosted some exhilarating discussions

And the final four days of the festival feature highlight after highlight

VFF is hosting daily Talent Talks with filmmakers in the competition until Saturday, giving any budding filmmaker the perfect opportunity to learn more about their craft on a daily basis.

The Official Competition line-up are being screened everyday until Friday the 15th ahead of a special screening of Daughter Of Mine (Figlia Mia).

The Closing Screening and Awards Ceremony will be held on Saturday evening. Anyone attending VFF should not miss this as it is the culmination of the entire festival.

And the weekend parties don’t look too shabby either

There’s a selection of parties to choose from to suit all tastes and types. Grab an early drink at Fashion Aperitivo at Vino’s at 7pm on Friday evening, then grab another during Magic Hour at Vino’s at 10pm later that same night.

The finale is the Closing Party at Herbert Ganado Gardens at 11pm. This is always a memorable event, and this year’s is set to be another for the books. Tickets are available here.
