Watch: ‘Bless You All’ – X Factor Malta Stars And Filipino Community Come Together For Emotional Mamaclay Farewell

Mamaclay’s raw talent and charming demeanour on X Factor Malta culminated in a touching farewell yesterday afternoon, with a show organised by the Filipino community seeing many of her fellow contestants and even judge Howard Keith attending.

“My farewell show last night was super special,” Mamaclay told Lovin Malta. “It was a celebration of music, unity, love and friendship.”

The party – which was held at Sliema’s Salesian Oratory – also brought out a number of performances by X Factor Malta contestant, including Sean Kamati, who could not attend Saturday’s final because of his deteriorating health following a nasty episode of bronchitis. But Kamati – along with their judge and mentor Howard Keith Debono and even this season’s winner Richard – all made the effort to attend, braving the very bad weather which hit Malta to celebrate Mamaclay one last time before she returns home.

“A lot of people say I inspire them through my singing, and my positive outlook in life,” the X Factor finalist continued. “I feel the same, you all inspired me in so many ways.”

“I am blessed with so much love from all of you. Malta, you are beautiful and you will always have a special place in my heart.”

“Going back home for now, but definitely bringing this memory with me,” Mamaclay wrote last night following the party, sharing a number of touching photos from the afternoon.

“Seeing you all tonight is heart warming. The bond we have is so special. I just love all of you so much. See you again soon.”

And Malta sure seems to have left an incredible impression on the talented Filipino singer, with Mamaclay getting a giant tattoo of the eight-pointed cross last week.

Mamaclay’s elimination from X Factor just one week before the Grand Final was a highly controversial one… but while many decried it as textbook racism, she was still very positive of the whole experience. “Everyone is entitled to their own opinion,” Mamaclay had told Lovin Malta in an exclusive interview. “I don’t want to see it that way. I’m just so grateful for everything. You guys are so sweet and very inclusive.”
