Watch: ‘I Hope You’ll Remember Me’ – Mamaclay Says She Has ‘Nothing But Gratitude’ Following X Factor Malta Elimination
Mamaclay has reacted to last night’s X Factor Malta Live Semi Final and the elimination which triggered a massive response and debate online… but the beloved Filipino singer had nothing but love and gratitude to talk about.
“What a beautiful day,” Mamaclay started, all smiles despite last night’s disappointing turn of events in the show’s closing minutes. “Let me just say: I’m so grateful for all of you who supported me, showed me love, who cheered for me, who shared my videos. You were so amazing and so welcoming to me. There’s nothing else inside my heart right now but gratitude, really.”
“I wish my brother Richard and all of those who are in the finals well, I wish you all good luck, and you guys win this for me, OK?” she continued, saying “life is beautiful, God is good.”

“I’m so grateful to be able to be part of this journey,” Mamaclay finished, promising that she would be trying to get back to all the messages she had received overnight. “I learnt so much. I gained so many friends, and I hope to see you guys again.”
The singer went on to say she would be staying in Malta for a while, and that she would be there for Saturday’s Grand Final. “I hope my performances made an impact and I hope that you will remember me. I will always remember you all. I love you. Grazzi ħafna, inħobbkom ħafna. Thank you so much and God bless you all.”
