No one knows how to make superstars quite like Simon Cowell, and in the X Factor Malta’s first official trailer, the star who makes stars has something to say to those hoping to break through:

“Malta, there’s only one show that makes superstars… and that’s the X Factor.”

With just six days to go till the first episode drops, the X Factor Malta has already teased some highs and some lows from the auditions, but it looks like that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

In this latest clip, Ira appears to be on the verge of happy tears after what we can assume is an awe-inspiring performance, and that cute moment is followed by a clip showing Howard Keith destroying an unknown auditionee.

“Today it’s a no. Tomorrow, it’s also a no. The day after… it’s a no.”

Harsh. We cannot wait!
