You Need To Read This If You’re Planning On Going To Isle Of MTV And Haven’t Registered Yet

Just in case you didn’t realise, Isle of MTV is tomorrow, and there are a few things you need to know if you’re planning on attending the biggest festival the Maltese islands have ever seen. This year’s huge lineup, which features local favourite Emma Muscat and Eurovision representative Christabelle, was accompanied by a change in the ticketing system, and attendees were able to register for an entrance ticket on the official Isle of MTV website.
Registration has now been closed due the full capacity being reached
People will be let in on a first come first served after they’ve registered.
“We have had to close ticket registrations due to high demand, which is a real testament to the success of the franchise and partnership between MTV and the Malta Tourism Authority. We will be live monitoring attendance on the night and should any tickets become available, fans will be able to register and collect them from the Ticket Enquiry Desk located at Biskuttin in Floriana,” said a Viacom representative to Lovin Malta.
The new system is aimed at increasing health and safety in the popular national event
If you registered online, make sure to show up early to ensure you get a place in the event. If you didn’t register yet, don’t worry – just head to the registration tent that will be set up nearby, register, and then get in line to get into the free festival.
“Our health and safety consultants have advised us on the maximum number of fans that can safely be in the square at any one time. This does not match the number of registrations, so we have advised fans that entry will be subject to capacity, which will be live monitored throughout the night. Access will be granted on a first come, first served basis,” the Viacom spokesperson said.
They’ve also rolled out a list of banned items for anyone planning on attending
