12-Year-Old Reportedly Stabbed 17 Times By Mother’s Partner In Marsa
The Marsa stabbing that sent one 12-year-old girl to the ITU was reportedly done by her mother’s partner, according to TVM News.
The newsroom wrote that the girl was asleep when she was attacked and stabbed 17 times last Saturday. She is currently fighting for her life in the Intensive Care Unit at Mater Dei.
Lovin Malta was unable to independently verify this information.
Meanwhile, the girl’s 15-year-old sister is recovering from grievous injuries sustained in her hand. A 14-year-old boy was also present in the home and while he wasn’t physically injured, he was treated for shock.
The man, a 43-year-old from Bormla, is currently under arrest and he is expected to be arraigned in court in the coming days.
The girl’s mother was reportedly out shopping at the grocer’s when her partner, who was home with the minors, went on some sort of rampage. She arrived back home in Triq San Tumas to a chaotic scene and asked for police assistance. The man quickly fled.
The alleged aggressor was already arraigned in Court last year and charged with threatening his same partner and her daughter, but the case was dropped after both females refused to give evidence against him.
This is a developing story.
