A 31-year-old resident of Birżebbuġa is currently fighting for his life after his motorcycle crashed with two cars in Luqa earlier this afternoon.

The police were informed of the incident on Triq Ħal-Far, Ħal-Luqa, at 2pm.

Upon surveying the scene, they discovered that the man was driving a Peugeot Tweet motorcycle when he collided with an Isuzu TFR driven by a 58-year-old resident of Siġġiewi and a Mitsubishi RVR driven by another 31-year-old resident of Żabbar. 

The motorcyclist was aided by a medical team and rushed to the hospital by ambulance where his serious injuries were certified.

An inquiry has been opened while the police are continuing investigations.
