A 17,000-piece jigsaw puzzle has been donated by Joe Demanuele to the Oratory of Don Bosco in Victoria, Gozo.

Demanuele’s daughter, Louise Aquilina told Lovin Malta that it took him seven months to complete the jigsaw that now symbolises dedication and generosity, two values that the Oratory holds close to heart.

The jigsaw presented shows three different episodes from St Mary and Jesus Christ’s lives. The left piece of the jigsaw shows St Mary receiving the visit from Angel Gabriel. The centre piece shows the nativity of the Christ. The right piece shows the presentation of Jesus at the Temple.

Over the years, Demanuele completed several enormous puzzles, with his largest being two puzzles of 32,000 pieces each. So far, these are not on display as sufficient space still needs to be found.

Well done for the masterpiece!
