21 Arrested In St Paul’s Bay And Qawra For Living Irregularly

21 people were arrested in St Paul’s Bay and Qawra after authorities discovered that they were in Malta irregularly.

Police investigations, surveillance, and coordinated work have led to the arrest of 32 people in the last few days who were working or residing in Malta irregularly. 

Those arrested were taken to a detention centre until they are returned to their country of origin or to the country they are permitted to reside in.

The work is being carried out in a coordinated manner by the Police Force, together with the entities related to immigration and the Detention Services Agency.
