The 21-year-old Italian national who suffered serious injuries in a traffic accident in Pembroke last Thursday has sadly passed away.

The man was driving a Kymco Agility motorbike at 5.30am when he lost control and collided with a concrete barricade in Sant Andrija street. He was immediately aided by a medical team and taken to hospital by ambulance.

The Magisterial inquiry and police investigations are still ongoing.
