24-Year-Old Who Lost His Life In Luqa Traffic Accident Identified As Chris Gatt
A 24-year-old year old man who died last night in a tragic car accident in Luqa has been identified as Chris Gatt, a resident of Mtarfa.
The incident happened at around 9pm in Triq l-Ewwel Titjira. Investigations indicate that Gatt lost control while driving a BMW and ended up crashing over the barrier of the central strip and into a concrete structure on the opposite lane.
The police, medical teams from the hospital and members of the Protection were immediately called to the scene Civil. Unfortunately the driver was certified dead at the scene.
Another 24-year-old man and Mtarfa resident was also in the car and was taken to Mater Dei Hospital where his injuries were certified as grievous.
