25-Year-Old Turkish Worker Dies In Two-Storey Fall At Pembroke Site
A 25-year-old man from Türkiye lost his life after falling the equivalent of around two storeys at a construction site.
The accident occurred at around 7.45 am in Triq Pietru D’Armenia in Pembroke. A medical team and members of the Civil Protection Department were called to assist, but the worker was unfortunately declared dead at the scene.
Magistrate Joseph Mifsud has opened an inquiry into the case, while investigations by the Police and the Occupational Health and Safety Authority are still underway.
