35-Year-Old Dies In Comino Blue Lagoon
A man lost his life in Blue Lagoon, Comino earlier today after finding difficulty while swimming.
The 35-year-old Italian National was given first aid at the scene by the Emergency Response and Rescue Corps (ERRC) and later taken to the Mġarr Harbour in Gozo.
An ambulance took the man to the Gozo General Hospital but was certified dead shortly after.
Magistrate Brigitte Sultana was informed of the case and a Magisterial Inquiry was opened.
Police are still investigating the incident.
