A 49-year-old woman was hospitalised last night after she lost control of her vehicle which ended up overturning in St Paul’s Bay.

The incident occurred at around 6.30pm along Triq San Pawl il-Baħar, St Paul’s Bay, police have confirmed.

The St Paul’s Bay resident lost control of her Land Rover Defender, which consequently ended up overturning.

A medical team was called on-site to assist, and an ambulance transported the woman to Mater Dei Hospital to receive care for her injuries. It was later confirmed that her injuries are of a grievous nature.
