La Brioscia ice-cream shop has taken to social media to express its sadness at employee Cristi Robles’ death, which took place last night in a motorcycle accident.
“It is with heavy hearts that we share the tragic news of the passing of our dear colleague and friend, Cristi Robles. Cristi was more than just an employee at La Brioscia—she was a beacon of loyalty, excellence, and unwavering dedication,” stated La Brioscia on Facebook.
Many commented, thanking Cristi for her friendship, and expressing their disbelief at the tragic loss.
“We are all deeply shocked and saddened by this loss. Cristi’s presence will be profoundly missed, but her memory will continue to inspire us every day. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time,” La Brioscia added.
The Hispanic Catholic Community also expressed its sorrow, and is planning a mass on September 1st at the Church of St Mary of the Angels Baħar iċ-Ċagħaq, in honour of Cristi.
