Nationalist MP Adrian Delia has extended a “cooperative” hand to new Transport Minister Chris Bonett for the vitality of the sector.

“A new year, a new week, new responsibilities. Everyone needs a bit of time to find their footing,” Delia wrote on Facebook this morning.

“And although the shoe is not big, it has many holes. There isn’t much time and space for errors, though. Because there have been too many.”

“From my end, I am ready to extend a hand of cooperation so that this crucial sector can finally come to life. For the good of our country.”

Chris Bonett was promoted to Minister for Transport, Infrastructure, and Public Works from Parliamentary Secretary. He replaced Aaron Farrugia, who has been left without a portfolio.
