Animal Activist Urges Public To Immediately Report Cat Killings Or Kidnappings

Romina Frendo has appealed to the public to immediately file a report if they notice that cats have gone missing or if they spot people “collecting them”.
“What people need to do is report immediately, not a week or months later,” Frendo told Lovin Malta.
Frendo noted that there have been many sightings of people collecting cats using vehicles but those reporting are not including a number plate or information that could lead to the capture of the suspects.
The activist went on to say that more cats continue to go missing and people who notice are only reporting the missing cats days or months after the fact. Frendo had also asked for CCTV footage in a previous appeal to the public to help identify the suspects behind the cat kidnappings and cat killings.
RAR is offering a reward of up to 4,000 Euro, pledged by Mix Markt Malta for information leading to the arrest of the suspected attacker.
Lovin Malta has reached out to Animal Welfare Malta for a comment on the case.
