Another Worker Injured On Site After Being Caught Between A Lifter And A Truck In Pietà
Another worker has been injured on a site in Malta after he was caught between a lifter and a truck.
A 44-year-old resident of Birkirkara sustained grievous injuries this morning at around 8.30 while working on Triq Clarens, Pietà.
The police informed that the man seemed to have been caught between the machines as he was allegedly arranging the lifter.
A medical team was called to the scene and an ambulance rushed the man to hospital where his injuries were certified as grievous.
This is the second of such instances in two days with a 35-year-old Turkish worker falling into a hole leading to a reservoir under a pjazza in Birgu.
He also sustained grievous injuries.
