An armed robber stormed into a betting shop in Ta’ Xbiex earlier today, demanding cash from the young salesgirl present.

The incident occurred at around 9.30am, along Triq il-Prinċipessa Margerita, Ta’ Xbiex. 

Following investigations, police found that the armed robber went into the shop and demanded money from the 22-year-old woman.

He immediately fled the scene after stealing the cash.

No one was injured in the ordeal, and police are still looking for the robber.
