Assistance dogs are known to provide lots of benefits to many different people, especially to children who face certain challenges, according to Assistance Dogs Malta.

“They are known to aid children with neuro-developmental disorders such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), enhancing their social, communication, and behavioural performance. “

Assistance training begins as early as two days old, it’s a rigorous yet rewarding progress aimed at preparing dogs to handle stressful situations and perform tasks beyond their capacity. However, through this initiative, the organisation will also provide sessions to enhance the skills of mature dogs.

The seasoned team of trainers is committed to assuming a client-centric approach, meaning that they tailor each training program to the unique needs of their clients and their “canine companions”, aiming to foster a life of increased independence.

Assistance Dogs Malta further offers home environment adaptation, human-canine bonding, ongoing support, obedience mastery, and behavioural excellence.

“As we embark on this exhilarating venture, we are fueled by the promise of a more inclusive and understanding society, one paw at a time.”
