‘Be Happy When You Think Of Me’: Nicky Sansone’s Last Letter Surfaces As She’s Laid To Rest
The beloved Nicky Sansone’s final letter to her friends and loved ones has surfaced as she was laid to rest today during her funeral.
In her letter, which was shared to social media by one of her best friends, she shared a powerful message, telling them to not spend too much time crying over her.
“You have all been so supportive in one way or another… I can never thank you enough. Of course there will be sadness and tears, but please make it short and smile and be happy when you think of me,” Nicky wrote.
“I am going to be with so many people we have lost. I’ll do my best to watch all over you,” she continued.
She continued to say how she’s going to miss her friends and cats so much, and concluded by asking them to take care of each other. Meanwhile, her beloved cats Tiger and Billy have been adopted and re-homed following her passing.
Nicky was laid to rest earlier this morning at Balluta church, where hundreds gathered to commemorate her memory.
The funeral featured a recording that she captured moments before she passed away, where she encouraged people to “live, love, and smile” influencing the sermon given during her ceremony.
She passed away on 8th August at the age of 55, after a long battle with cancer.
