The US Embassy in Malta has opened applications for the prestigious 2025 Benjamin Franklin Transatlantic Fellowship, inviting Maltese youths aged 16 to 18 to take part in this exciting opportunity.

The fellowship, which will take place in the United States during the summer of 2025, honours the legacy of American statesman and diplomat Benjamin Franklin.

His contributions to fostering transatlantic cooperation are mirrored in the program’s mission to empower young people, build connections between Europeans and Americans, and promote shared values of freedom and collaboration.

This intensive, four-week exchange will bring together approximately 45 European and 10 American participants to address common challenges faced by youth on both sides of the Atlantic in the 21st century.

One Maltese participant will be fully funded by the US Embassy to join this transformative experience.
