Bolt Food To Start ‘Only Cooperating With Couriers Employed By Work Agencies’
As of next year, Bolt Food will only start working with food couriers who are employed and registered with a local work agency.
The change in policy came about yesterday after couriers received a notification from Bolt that their contract will be terminated in the next 30 days.
However, Bolt outlined that if the courier would like to continue working with the company, it would now need to register with a work agency.
“We are writing to inform you that we are terminating the agreement with you in accordance with section 9.2 of General Terms to Bolt Food delivery service with the Courier. The termination shall take effect in 30 days, i.e. from 11th January 2023,” it said in a notice.
“Due to business reasons, as of 11th January, Bolt will only cooperate with couriers who are employed by work agencies.”
“If you would like to continue delivering on the platform, please make sure that you are registered as an employee of a work agency.”
Bolt Food confirmed the change in terms and conditions, however, no further information was given.
