A bomb threat forced the evacuation of Café del Mar last night during a planned NERVO performance, as part of this year’s Malta Music Week.

Police were notified of the threat around 11.30pm, and by midnight, the venue had been fully evacuated. The emergency was handled by both the Police Force and the Armed Forces of Malta.Police confirmed with Lovin Malta that no bomb was found and the threat appears to have been a false alarm.

Thankfully, no injuries were reported.Earlier in the evening, Café del Mar announced that the Australian DJ duo had missed their flight to Malta due to unforeseen travel delays and would not be performing.
