Dar Tal‑Providenza Raises Over €630,000 in Charity Volleyball Marathon
Dar Tal‑Providenza has raised an impressive €632,153 during a 53-hour volleyball marathon held in Siġġiewi over the weekend.
The event, now in its 15th edition, saw 40 players take to the court across five teams, backed by dozens of volunteers, supporters, and spectators.
Beyond the sport itself, the marathon featured live entertainment, food stalls, a children’s play area, and moments of prayer and reflection. The crowd came together to support the residential home’s ongoing mission to provide quality care and dignity to persons with disabilities.
The event was officially opened by President Myriam Spiteri Debono, who praised the home’s legacy of inclusion. Organisers expressed heartfelt thanks to all donors, volunteers, and participants for their contributions.
Funds raised will go towards improving facilities and services at Dar Tal‑Providenza, helping to ensure its residents continue to live in comfort, security, and community.
