DB Group Issues Statement Following Worker’s Tragic Death
dB Group issued a statement following the death of a construction worker earlier this morning.
At around 8am, a Turkish worker employed on the db Group project in St George’s Bay tragically lost his life after falling from a height.
The deceased was employed by HAS, a Turkish subcontractor engaged on the project. Officials from the Occupational Health and Safety Authority (OHSA), the Police, and db Group are currently on site investigating the incident.
“The db Group is, and will continue to, fully collaborate with the respective investigating authorities. The Group also pledges its full support to the victim’s family and colleagues,” read the statement.
