A person was discovered dead in an apartment in Xlendi, Gozo earlier today.

The police were promptly alerted and arrived at the scene, where they found the person in a fifth floor apartment. Assistance from the Civil Protection Department was requested to safely remove the body from the apartment.

The authorities have not released additional details, and investigations are still underway
