Devastated Family Up Reward For Missing One-Eared Dog Ruby To €5,000
The devastated family which has been searching day and night for their lost one-eared dog Ruby have upped the reward to a whopping €5,000.
“A cry for help for our furry friend,” the new poster reads, with the owners telling Lovin Malta that they’re willing to give up their savings for her.
The black Staffie was last seen in the rural town of Għarb in Gozo, before she went missing on 15th July.
Since then, multiple sightings have been reported around the island of Gozo, but unfortunately, she has not yet reached her owners.
Owned by Emily Biesmans and Amir Chalaby, who lovingly adopted her from Noah’s Ark three years ago, Ruby’s sudden disappearance has left the family devastated.
The family believes that she may have been taken, and the anxiety is compounded by the heat, especially given that Ruby is known to be friendly and might be vulnerable.
If found, she may be wearing her blue harness, and responding enthusiastically to her name, wagging her tail uncontrollably at the mention of “Ruby”.
