Diver Raises Concern After Chilling Encounter With A Speedboat
Diver, Andrew Sammut, shared a chilling video on social media showing a dangerous close call with a speedboat while he was diving underwater.
The footage, taken from Andrew’s perspective, shows the boat speeding past him just a few feet away, underscoring how risky the situation could have been if the boat had hit him.
In his post, Andrew warns others: “Don’t be this guy this summer,” emphasising how easily things could have gone wrong in this situation. He also pointed out that there was a dive flag clearly marking the area, which should have alerted boaters to the presence of divers in the water.
As the summer boating season ramps up, let’s all remember to stay alert and make water safety a priority.
