Donate And Save Someone’s Life: Over 100+ Blood Bags Urgently Requested By Mater Dei
Over 100 blood bags have been urgently requested by Mater Dei Hospital’s Blood Bank, as the National Blood Transfusion Service appeals for timely blood donations.
“We are continuing to appeal for many more blood donations to continue saving patients in all the hospitals of Malta and Gozo,” the National Blood Transfusion Service wrote on social media.
“We can also announce that this morning 77 O positive blood bags and 47 A positive blood bags were urgently requested from the Mater Dei Hospital Blood Bank,” it said yesterday.
“We greatly appreciate your cooperation in this difficult moment for us, but mostly for the patients, because in reality the blood is needed by them.”
“We expect you to come, possibly today, and share this message as well,” it stressed.
